Classic Yogyakarta Tour visiting all of popular places
This tour brings you to the places that has been supporting this city as the most famous destination in Java Island.
We will pick you up at your selected time in Yogyakarta City or Borobudur. First, visit two royal places where show you Yogyakarta elegant culture from a kingdom in the past. If your schedule allows, we recommend you to set your pick-up time at around 9:00 so that you can see a practice of Javanese traditional performance by a culture group in Yogyakarta Royal Palace. After that, let’s have a walk in Malioboro street where has the asian chaos ambience. Then, we will move to Yogyakarta suburb to visit Prambanan Temple. You can explore in Prambanan Park to find great works in 9th century.

Yogyakarta Royal Palace
- As this place is a living royal place, too casual clothes are not recommended. Wearing a hat/cap is prohibited.
Prambanan Temple
- There is no dress code to visit the temple.
There are many stairs, so walking shoes are recommended. - You will go around in Borobudur Temple Park in around 91℉/33℃ under the sunshine of daytime. A hat and a pair of sunglasses are recommended.
Can I see Javanese dance in Yogyakarta Royal Palace?
From around 10:00, a Javenese traditional culture group has practice in the palace everyday. So you can see one kind of Javanese performance such as Javanese dance, Javanese poems, Javanese music orchestra Gemelan, shadow show Wayang Kulit.
Can I have lunch during the tour?
Yes, you can. Because food rules during travelling is variety and sensitive, we don't include lunch in our tours. But we have calculated lunch time in the itinerary. You can tell your driver/guide what you want to eat, so he/she will take you to a suitable restaurant on the way. Please pay for your lunch in the restaurant directly. If you want to have your lunch in a certain restaurant that is far from the route, additional car fee may be imposed.
Can I visit other temples and a museum in Prambanan Temple Park?
Yes, you can. No need to pay for entrance of other temples and the museum. But if you ride on a cart/toy train/bicycle to go there, you should pay for the tickets of the vehicle around Rp 10,000 - Rp 20,000 per person.
