Merapi Jeep Adventure

• The road is sometimes very sandy. A hat and a pair of sunglasses can protect you from the sands.
• You may be a bit wet during river driving. Please bring a towel or clothes for change just in case.

Borobudur Temple

• There is no dress code to visit the temple.
  There are many stairs, so walking shoes are recommended.
• You will go around in Borobudur Temple Park in around 91℉/33℃ under the sunshine of daytime. A hat and a pair of sunglasses are recommended.

Can jeep drivers speak English?

Not really. They hardly speak English. But your jeep driver accompany you in all places in Merapi Jeep Adventure to show the spots you must see in broken English and body language. If you'd prefer to have a perfect English guide service in Merapi, we can assign an English guide for Merapi Jeep Adventure too.

Is this jeep adventure dengerous for small kids?

If the weather is good, normally jeeps run without a roof cover. Most of parts of the road are unpaved off-road. Jeeps don't have seatbelts and no place to grab to support your body. So we recommend you to bring your kids if they are strong enough to balance without any support in cars. If your kid(s) goes this adventure together, your jeep driver drives well by choosing the better road for your kid(s).

Can I have lunch during the tour?

Yes, you can. Because food rules during travelling is variety and sensitive, we don't include lunch in our tours. But we have calculated lunch time in the itinerary. You can tell your driver/guide what you want to eat, so he/she will take you to a suitable restaurant on the way. Please pay for your lunch in the restaurant directly. If you want to have your lunch in a certain restaurant that is far from the route, additional car fee may be imposed.

Can I skip Pawon Temple and Mendut Temple?

Yes, you can. Please inform us when you book a tour, so we can show you the tour cost that omit Pawon Temple and Mendut Temple Ticket.

Can I visit the museums of Borobudur Temple Park?

Yes, you can. No need to pay for entrance of the museums. We will pick you up earlier than the time in the itinerary to make time for the museums. Please let us know when you book a tour if you would like to visit the museum.
