Borobudur Sunset

• Sometimes visitors are requried to submit a passport. Just in case please bring your passport.
• A rental flashlight is included in the tour cost. In the case of rain, a raincoat is ready for you.
• There is no dress code to visit the temple.
  There are many stairs, so walking shoes are recommended.

Can I skip Mendut Temple and Pawon Temple?

Yes, you can. Please inform us when you book a tour, so we can show you the tour cost that omit Pawon Temple and Mendut Temple Ticket.

Do we walk a lot in Village Exploring?

No. We will take you to some villages by our car.

Is it ok if I take some photos of the people/houses in Village Exploring?

Yes, it's no problem at all. Just ask he/her permission when you take the photos of the villagers. Basically just showing your thanks is enough for a couple of shots. If you asked he/she to pose for your photos/took many photos, paying small amount of money about Rp 5,000 - Rp 10,000 to show your thanks would be nice.

Can I have lunch during the tour?

Yes, you can. Because food rules during travelling is variety and sensitive, we don't include lunch in our tours. But we have calculated lunch time in the itinerary. You can tell your driver/guide what you want to eat, so he/she will take you to a suitable restaurant on the way. Please pay for your lunch in the restaurant directly. If you want to have your lunch in a certain restaurant that is far from the route, additional car fee may be imposed.

If rains, is the sunset visit held?

In the case of normal rain, Borobudur Temple still open for the sunset. As long as Borobudur Temple opens the sunset visit, we don't ask you to cancel the sunset visit. But if you would like to cancel the sunset visit because of the bad weather, you can make a decision before you enter the temple if you cancel all or switch with Borobudur regular visit. If you cancel all, we will make a refund for Borobudur Sunset Ticket. If you enter the temple as regular visit, we will make a refund for the amount of difference of Borobudur Sunset Ticket and Borobudur Temple Regular Ticket. As the dinner that is included in this tour is from Borobudur Sunset Ticket, if the sunset visit is cancelled, the dinner is not provided neither.

Can I visit the museums of Borobudur Temple Park?

Yes, you can. No need to pay for entrance of the museums. We will pick you up earlier than the time in the itinerary to make time for the museums. Please let us know when you book a tour if you would like to visit the museum.

Can I skip the dinner that is included in the tour itinerary?

Yes, you can. But the dinner in the tour itinerary is the dinner at Manohara Resto that is included in the sunset ticket. So, skipping the dinner means waiving the dinner, we can't make a refund nor discount for the dinner.

Can I have vegetarian/vegan dinner?

Manohara Resto offers you a buffet with some vegetarian/vegan selections. So you can select your preferred foods.
